Gabriel, recently arrived to the Rua 25 de Março, the biggest shopping area in São Paulo, approaches buyers leaving the subway at Ladeira Porto Geral to convince them to visit the store he works for at one of the buildings along the street. He get’s a comission if one of the buyers he takes to the store makes a purchase. In avarage he makes R$ 1100 in a month, almost twice Brazil’s minimum wage.
